Business premises

There has been a rapid proliferation of new business premises in the Netherlands in recent years. Premises built using the latest technologies and often furnished with state-of-the-art equipment. When building premises it is now increasingly common for the requirements of potential customers and future employees to be taken into account right from the start.

Ergonomic aspects that enhance the wellbeing of those who use the premises are treated as a priority and are more and more likely to be specified in the brief drawn up for the architect.

Lighting is an element that plays an increasingly prominent role in the formulation of the brief. After all, it is the lighting that creates the experience.

There is a direct relationship between good lighting and the wellbeing of the employees. This is true in new premises and old premises. When used effectively, the lighting in business premises always serves a specific purpose appropriate to the room in question.
